Petzl's Contact rope has the UltraSonic Finish on the ends of the rope, where the core and the jacket are perfectly welded by ultrasound, increasing durability and preventing the end of the rope from opening.
It also has the ClimbReady folding method. When the climber unpacks it for the first use, this type of folding prevents incorrect maneuvers, increasing longevity and preventing the rope from coming out already curled on the first use.
Finally, the EverFlex heat treatment stabilizes the threads and makes the rope more homogeneous, providing excellent grip in the hand and constant handling over time.
